Safety Conditions for Using the Pool Heating Control Unit

1. Purpose and Scope

This document defines safety rules for the installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal of the pool heating control unit. Compliance with these rules is essential to protect personal health, ensure proper device functionality, and prevent property damage.

2. Operational Safety

  • The control unit may only be operated by persons familiar with its function and safety instructions.
  • Before operation, check that power cables, terminals, the enclosure, and sensors are not damaged.
  • Do not install or use the device in environments with high humidity beyond its rated protection, in dusty areas, or near chemicals used for water treatment.
  • Do not exceed the recommended operating parameters, especially supply voltage, current load, and temperature limits.
  • If unusual smell, smoke, sparks, or overheating occurs, disconnect the device from power immediately.

3. Electrical Safety

  • Connect the control unit only to a properly grounded electrical installation that meets applicable standards.
  • All electrical work must be performed by qualified personnel.
  • Do not open the device enclosure unless it is disconnected from power.
  • Do not use the device if it has been exposed to direct contact with water or if the area has been flooded.

4. Installation and Placement

  • Install the device in a dry, well‑ventilated location away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
  • The control unit must be placed away from splashing water and areas where condensation may occur.
  • Install temperature sensors and flow sensors according to the manufacturer's instructions to ensure proper heating regulation.

5. Maintenance and Inspection

  • Regularly check the condition of cables, terminals, sensors, and connectors.
  • Clean only with a dry or slightly damp cloth; do not use aggressive chemicals.
  • Replace damaged parts immediately and do not attempt unauthorized repairs.
  • After each service intervention, verify proper device operation and safety features.

6. Handling, Storage, and Transport

  • Avoid impacts, drops, or mechanical damage when handling the device.
  • Do not carry the device by its cables or sensor wires.
  • Store in a dry environment without extreme temperatures or humidity.
  • Use the original packaging or suitable protective material during transport.

7. Disposal and Environmental Handling

  • Do not dispose of the control unit in mixed household waste.
  • Dispose of the device in accordance with regulations on electronic waste.
  • Take the device to a recycling center or an authorized collection point.
  • If the device contains batteries (e.g., backup power), remove them before disposal and hand them over at designated collection points.

8. User Responsibility

The user must follow all instructions and ensure that all persons using the device are familiar with them. Failure to comply with safety conditions may result in injury, device damage, or loss of warranty.
